I am a software engineer by profession and photographer by passion. 

I love to take pictures and freeze the moment. I have been taking pictures for over several years. I love taking pictures of people and their happiest moments especially without them knowing. I tend to take a lot of BW pictures which I love. BW pictures always carry an emotion more than a color photo.

My idea of photography is to capture life’s moments as is with subjects and the environment to be most natural and real. Everyone is at their best when they are comfortable and in their most natural way. I try my best to make my subjects very comfortable in front of the lens. My philosophy of editing is that I try to be a minimalist when it comes to editing. Personally I do not like overly retouched skin tones. However the style of editing lately depends on the genre of photography. 

I started photography using a film camera that my sister gifted. Over years, I have started collecting vintage cameras and I still love shooting film. I just love the overall process from loading film, finding good light, the anticipation for the picture, the development process and finally the “film look”. To me, there is a beautiful experience using a vintage camera that cannot be explained in words!
